This foundational learning module is for healthcare practitioners supporting patients using medicinal cannabis. Topics covered include the safe and effective management of medicinal cannabis in pharmacy, with a focus on state regulations, compliant dispensing processes, informed patient counselling, and risk assessment.
Learners will examine the scheduling and categorization of THC and CBD, assess potential drug interactions, and compare the pharmacology of different dosage forms and administration routes, and appropriate titration strategies.

- Describe the pharmacological properties, indications and poison schedules of THC and CBD.
