This module examines the role of the endocannabinoid system in pain, inflammation, and mood regulation, and evaluates the potential benefits and risks of phytocannabinoids in managing pelvic pain and psychological symptoms.

With a focus on personalised, multimodal care, the module guides the development of evidence-informed treatment plans that integrate medicinal cannabis for patients with refractory symptoms. A Case study will be presented to develop and assess clinical reasoning and practice management skills, identify knowledge gaps, and provide a framework for clinical supervision and feedback.
